A luminous celebration of the meeting between sky and sea, Where the Light Begins captures a fleeting moment of golden light emerging along an endless coastal horizon.
Rich layers of cerulean and azure unfold across the expansive sky, where delicate strokes of warm gold radiate outward from a brilliant point of light. Below, vibrant turquoise waters stretch toward the viewer, their gently textured surface illuminated by soft, shimmering reflections.
Expressive brushwork and a beautifully balanced composition create a sense of depth and atmosphere, while the interplay of saturated blues and golden highlights evokes the extraordinary beauty of light transforming the landscape.
Both energizing and serene, the painting offers an invitation to pause and experience the quiet wonder of an open horizon.
Inspiration
Inspired by the fleeting beauty of sunlight emerging over the ocean, this piece explores the relationship between light, color, and atmosphere.
The radiating golden strokes suggest the moment when the horizon begins to glow, while the reflections below capture the way light travels across the surface of the sea.
Rather than depicting a specific location or time of day, the composition celebrates the emotional experience of witnessing a beautiful coastal moment.
